At night, when everything is quiet and our eyes grow heavy, we enter a world we don't see during the day. It's a place where the mind is free to create with the colors of our subconscious, often reflecting our deepest fears. This effect, called phosphenes, is a natural display of neurons lighting up in the dark. It's beautiful but can also be unsettling, a reminder of the hidden thoughts and worries we all carry within us.
